I wrote this one for one of my little fans that came running into the concert hall before a show to show me his brand new rocket shoes. I remember loving excitement and promise of a new pair of shoes when I was a kid. . .and I never even had a pair with rockets on them!

There’s a picture of a rocket ship right on the toe
Bright lights flash with every step I take
The lights blink faster, the faster I go
